The environmental impact of irresponsible exploitation of our ocean resources and coastlines is becoming increasingly clear. Accountable and diversified aquaculture is clearly the only long-tern sustainable alternative to current approaches. To realize this goal, disconnecting aquaculture facilities from coastlines and reducing farming effluents to marine ecosystems is key. The first step in such efforts requires sustainable inland farming of Queen Prawn™ using freshwater without any chemical additives. These waters can be later used to grow agriculture crops. The ultimate objective, however, calls for the design of closed indoor systems farms that can be located almost anywhere with freshwater. Queen Prawn™ farming is the responsible alternative for saving our oceans.
