The economic advantage of farming Queen Prawn^™ M. rosenbergii is achieved by stocking 4X^™, a proprietary high-density, highly uniform all-female genetic population developed and produced exclusively by Enzootic. This patented biotechnology harnesses the natural sexual plasticity of crustaceans using a technology called Parental Cell Transplantation, in combination with an array of proprietary genomic selection tools. This technology does not involve the use of hormones, chemicals or any genetic modification. Our multi-patent technology has been validated in numerous studies and published in a wide range of peer-reviewed scientific journals.

To constantly improve the performance of our high-density 4X^™ Genetic line, the Enzootic Genetics team in Israel is steering one of the most advanced quantitative genomic selection programs, in partnership with our stakeholders NRGene and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Our engineering team has been working on the design of our first automated vertical RAS hatchery, now operational in Thailand, while our nutritionists have developed CRUST^™, a proprietary performance nutritional formula precisely designed to meet the dietary needs of Queen Prawn^™ M. rosenbergii.
